Welcome! Women comprise only approximately thirty percent of the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. The Johns Hopkins Chapter of Society of Women Engineers promotes the endeavors of females in STEM-related fields. We collaborate with engineering undergraduate and graduate students, professors, alumni, and industry professionals to host events where the importance of female engineers is highlighted. We also engage in numerous outreach endeavors, mentoring female Baltimore elementary and middle school students and encouraging them to pursue STEM in their future careers.
